  • Please consider these questions when deciding if Artful Minds classes are right for your child:

    • Has your child completed 6 years of age?

    • Is your child fully toilet-trained and independent?

    • Is your child comfortable following instructions?

    • Can your child attend class without a parent?

    • Is your child comfortable with new people and mixing with other children?

    • Does your child attend school without additional one-to-one support?

    If you’ve answered "yes" to all the above, we’re confident your child will enjoy and thrive in our classes.

    For safety, we cannot accept disruptive behaviour such as defiance, kicking, spitting, biting, or refusing to follow instructions. Parents will be contacted if such behaviour occurs.

  • Our classes offer a variety of engaging activities, including painting, drawing, creative crafts, and art history. These activities help children develop fine motor skills, build confidence, and nurture their creativity—all while having fun and making new friends.

  • We recommend old clothes or an apron, as our classes can get messy. We want kids to fully enjoy the creative experience without worrying about stains or materials on their clothing.

  • Doors open 5 minutes before class starts and we start promptly. Please keep in mind that our classes follow a step-by-step program, so if your child arrives later than 20 minutes after the start time, they might need to forfeit the class for that day.

  • No, we provide all the necessary materials for the class. Your child only needs to bring a positive attitude and be ready to get creative!

  • Our terms run from September to June, with breaks for Christmas and other holidays.

  • Registration is easy through our online booking system, ClassForKids. If you don't have an account with ClassForKids yet, you'll be required to sign up first. After completing the registration process you can book your class. If you experience any issues, please contact us for assistance.

  • Yes, you can register at any point in the term. Simply use our booking system and if you have any questions email us at artfulminds@gmail.com.

  • We offer a monthly subscription, which can be cancelled at any time by emailing us. All payments are processed online via our booking system, and we do not accept cash.

  • If a class is cancelled due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances, we cannot issue refunds. We will try to reschedule the class or add it at the end of the term (June/July), when possible.

  • Our classes are drop-off and collect only. Parents are not allowed to stay during the session to help maintain a focused environment. Only vetted adults are allowed in the teaching space. Our instructors will contact you if there are any issues.

  • Unfortunately, we require children to be at least 6 years old to join our classes.

  • We welcome all children, but if your child requires an SNA in school, we ask that you bring one to our art classes as well. This ensures they receive the support needed for a positive experience. Please contact us if you have any questions.

  • We take our adult-to-child ratios seriously for safety. If a class is fully booked, your child will be placed on a waiting list and contacted when a space becomes available.

  • To cancel, email us at least 7 days before the 1st of the month to stop the next payment. We do not issue refunds for cancellations made outside of this 7-day notice period.
